I do love it when something perfectly silly like this catches my attention:

On 9th October, BBC news shared the hilarious tale of an original signage prankster at work in Chelmsford, made all the more amusing to me because I know some of the places described and can picture them vividly from my youth.

The bridge, very close to the train station entrance, is low indeed. I can even overlook the lack of punctuation after "bridge" on this occasion for its high amusement value. I can just picture Chelmsfordians shouting "DUCK!" aloud. Priceless.

If only this pigeon banning sign would actually work.

The use of words to bring a smile and chuckle to people's day is a true blessing. Thank you to the person or people responsible for these beauties.

This light-hearted and amusing news story has certainly brought some cheer to a week where chickenpox has descended into our house.

Woolworths - now that takes me back. What an empire that was. Share your memories of Woolies, Chelmsford or silly signage. I'll be happy to chat on about any of those!

Now to check on the spotty one...
